About Alok Kumar
Being the world’s only original thinker-cum-author, Alok Kumar is ambitious, determined, energetic, enthusiastic, humane, young, philanthropic, friendly, committed to his goals, and oriented toward living a life of fulfillment. Coming from India and having lived in Dubai, UAE, Alok is a postgraduate in Mathematics and Business Management and has worked in fields where emotional, financial, physical, material, and moral interests of individuals and their families are always in focus.
He is an experienced BFSI professional with more than three decades of exposure in Indian and International regions, representing major MNCs. Alok is driven by an ambition to share his lifetime experiences with the world.
Background and Early Life
Born into a business-cum-agriculture family in the remote village of Rajauli in Nawada district, Bihar, India, Alok had an unconventional upbringing. As a child, while playful, he constantly sought something deeper in life. Despite aspiring to become an engineer or administrator, his limited access to formal education led him down a different path.
Alok’s father, a lawyer, had a collection of books that intrigued young Alok. He explored these books in addition to his academic curriculum, fostering an early love for knowledge. He believes that formal education may produce scholars, but to achieve true success, one must seek more than academic instruction. Alok values originality and the ability to retain a fresh perspective, even as life unfolds around us.
Life Philosophy
Alok Kumar believes in a sincere, serious approach toward life and any endeavor he undertakes. He is unafraid of humble beginnings and remains steadfast until his purpose is fulfilled. His personal philosophies of “Be Self” and “Keep it Simple” guide his actions, preferring action over empty words.
Coming from a complex socio-cultural background in India, and as a voracious reader of cross-sections of books and philosophies, Alok is working toward publishing seven books, each offering unique insights into life’s various facets.

Alok Kumar’s passion for sharing his thoughts and experiences is reflected in his ongoing book series. He has penned the following works:
- Divorce 2 Divorce, published in 2012, discusses relationships and the journey from separation to recovery.
- Divorce Negatives, recently launched, tackles negative mindsets and behaviors that affect modern life.
- सिहरन टूटन की (Expected December 2024), focuses on the 3Fs – Fun, Family, and Finance.
- Freedom Unfinished (Expected mid-2025), explores the concept of boundless freedom and personal growth.
His third book, सिहरन टूटन की, centers around critical aspects of life, primarily Fun, Family, and Finance, which people deal with daily. The fourth book, Freedom Unfinished, revolves around the premise that life without restrictions is a universal truth, chronicling the journey of its central character, Harry Suri.
Future Goals
Alok has long nurtured plans to create a foundation that empowers women and children, offering them an equal footing in life. The Banyan Tree Foundation, which Alok intends to establish, will provide the necessary atmosphere for these groups to move forward and achieve their full potential.
He invites his readers to join him on this mission, encouraging collaboration and active participation.
Business Ventures
Alok Kumar is one of the three co-founders of an e-commerce startup WWW.ALOKVIVIDH.COM, aimed at empowering individuals, professionals, and small businesses (MSMEs). The platform provides them with the online infrastructure to enhance their market opportunities and increase income.
The startup is built on the principles of BONES (Branding, Onboarding, Networking, Enhancing, Sourcing), making it a platform for all. Alok envisions this portal as an open marketplace by all, for all, and to benefit all.
